LiveJournal is choking more of tinfoil wraparounds than realities now, [AFAIK,] hedging there in the 'crisis' department, as it currently does. - Would a 'Got Better' subparagraph work for it, (..with some bylines not to take all eyes of it, still,) or is something looming that I can't see, here? - User:Name - Later: I've taken some whimsical liberties on this one, ymmv.
i like it. maybe we could have some sort of Hit Point system for sites, as they're taking damage. haha.

Please delete my pages
Could you please remove all my ex-pages at Geocities at this address http://geociti.es/CollegePark/Center/4434/? It was my resume in french and english a long time ago and I have deleted them before the shutdown of geocities. I don't want to see it anymore on the internet and I would really appreciate if you can remove it asap please. Plus my email address link is also dead...
I count on you ! Thanks in advance for your help and understanding,
Portal of Evil
Portal of Evil (c.1999-2011) shut down back in February. It was basically the ancestor of Encyclopedia Dramatica, dedicated to finding the worst/weirdest stuff online. Between most of its subjects disappearing when Geocities, etc. closed and its owner getting sick and tired of regular threats from link subjects, the plug was finally pulled. It is survived by POE-News, a news aggregator, and POETV, a video aggregator. It was preceded in death by POE-Sports. (it was mostly dead for a long time before that, though.) Experiment: Swapping "Pre-emptive Alarmbells" and "Pining for the Fjords"
I put "Pining for the Fjords" above "Pre-emptive Alarmbells" since a lot of people put things that should be in "Pining for the Fjords" into "Pre-emptive Alarmbells" and I think they do that because they assume higher up on the page means more important/urgent and closer to death. If in a few months this doesn't fix people putting things in the wrong place and there are other objections to the ordering, reverting their order would be fine. Arrith 05:42, 1 October 2011 (UTC)
Anyone know anything about www.charm.net? I was trying to access a site on it and found that the whole thing seems to be down. --Greer Watson 09:25, 5 October 2014 (EDT)
